Unlike longs, short sometimes lose money (go up) before plunging. Mr. Pink shorted ACRT at 22, only to see it rise to 27 before taking its ugly plunge to 11.

Expect the same from SIR. It is a registered investment company trading at over 3X book value. Earnings are significantly overstated due to failure to take reserves and write down failing loans.

Mr. pink plans to take this company apart, limb from limb.
