Tkanks for another enlightening post! If small molecules can mimic the molecular signaling pathways started by poplypeptide hormones, this is BIG NEWS indeed. The benefit of oral versus injection is obvious even to me! Do you know if LGND's patents seem to support this (if so, it would tend to confirm BJ's post)? Of course, if the the issued patents don't, pending patents which we are not aware of might do so. Lastly, were you able to find out when the Science article will be out?
