Hi Doug, just back to the thread, and sorry I did not reply you last week. Sorry I don't follow HK#17. I mostly pay attention Chinese ADRs. I have couple news here:
1. Sing Tao Daily posted a news couple days ago. China plans to set the same tax rate for all H-share companies to 33%. The 1st 9 H-shares traded in HK was giving a favor to have 15% tax rate, so these 9 companies would have a much higher tax rate, but the time for the tax hike has not been set (they set depends on market conditions). I have no idea which 9 H-shares were first IPO in HK, do you know?

2. China ADRs should have earning reports coming out in the next few weeks. In the Yahoo message board, they said that BYH was known already--BYH posted a short news in China Daily a few weeks ago, but BYH has not reported officially. The earning for BYH is bad. But on that thread, someone claimed to have inside info, and said the official report will post on 4/21, and would close to HK earning estimates.
