Pancho, somewhere in those equations, one must include a parameter to account for the $5 billion/month of 401k money that goes into the market.

Dear Dr. P. -

In your analysis, you used PE of 25 for the S&P500. I've seen that or similar quoted before, do you know where the number originates? What I'm trying to find out is, if that is a numerical average PE for the 500 stocks or is it capitalization weighted?
