P.S. The six general, non-antagonistic, non-specific questions that I would ask Pino and expect a response are as follows: 1. Is it correct that this is a serious, but non-catastrophic problem? 2. Are you having any problems with your bankers? 3. Are you having any problems with trade creditors? 4. Are you having any problems with customers? 5. Is there anything else in the way of general comment you can make at this time? 6. When can we expect a detailed public statement? Listen carefully to his answers - what is said and not said - his tone of voice, nervousness, etc. (I spoke with him after the October disaster and he was straightforward, forthcoming, calm, and able to make a politely humorous remark about the size of his loss that day vs. mine.)
