Shazaaam! COHR is back in the twenties. Time to load up the truck again. : )

Seriously, I agree with JDN. I may not think a split was needed, but my dear mother in her seventies likes to buy and sell her favorite stocks like COHR at familiar price points which have worked well in the past such as buy at 30 and sell at 40. I am logical enough to know it does not matter but my mother has far more money and success in the market that I do. Excuse me while I go bang my head on the wall. Maybe COHR management knows what the majority wants.

Dear Andrew, I dont have strongh enough feelings on this subject to argue with you however I would like to correct one thing you said. It is of no major consequence to split a stock. Requires very little legal work, a minor amendment to the articles of incorporation and in some states a vote of shareholders. But, I am unaware of any SEC approval necessary or any related accounting expense. Its just not the big deal you seem to feel it is in your eyes. As to purchasing power, there are a heck of a lot of "little people" out there and I think that they think in round lots. Plus, maybe management WANTS to disburse the stock into more hands. Anyhow, lets not argue about it. Its a done deal and frankly I just dont think its a BIG DEAL. JOHN
