If Intel announces and 170MM shares are traded because of "weaker than expected
orders" - didn't that just tell the markets that Compaq, Dell, and all of the Manufacturers
are going to be off their expected orders?

I thought that was obvious. I also thought and still believe that the trading price of CPQ at 27 1/2 took this into account. It was trading at 35 not long ago. I suspect the market will be fine and CPQ will close around 27 1/2 on Monday.
