C'mon, forget about the illegal nonsense. There's nothing wrong with posting about a rumor that is spreading when you note that it's a rumor. Starting a rumor to manipulate a stock is different, but that's not what happened here. End of story.

As to the impact of earnings warnings elsewhere, particularly when coupled with the recent movement and potential short squeeze, this is what we have all been waiting for. Putting aside whether seek deserves the attention its getting, this is exactly what happened with xcit last summer. Seek has some serious momentum, its valuation remains lower relative to the industry, and the money will come here given the runs had by the competition. The money that ran to yhoo, then xcit, is now coming here. It's just beginning its run. There will be some profit-taking along the way, but this is the start of an xcit-type move that has been anticipated for the past 6 months. If you can't acumulate, at least hold. If you go out, you'll never be able to get back in. Forget 15, that's history. Get ready for 25.
