Gaseous Windbags or Bad Balloons Here is a good story in which I have a peripheral involvement. It involves some well known and not so well known posters here on SI and a couple of posts which reached the ether. You are wondering why there are no early posts in Gaseous Windbags, there were some early posts deleted, they are now gone. This thread was started by someone named Albion Ende #Subject-18513 Albion wanted another poster to see it. #reply-2959514 A small group of Albion admirers thought the thread was very funny Chuck gets a chuckle. #reply-2960652 Anne follows #reply-2959977 Bruce laughs too. #reply-2959643 My involvement was simple, taking a well deserved shot at these two posters to the Gaseous Windbags thread, I guess you could call it *me amusing* myself. (Greystoke's amusement*, ack. to JR Garrett (said grudgingly*)) #reply-2965763 Some further reading reveals that missing material may be inferred. Some time has passed and it should be obvious that Albion (Floats) and his friend with the call numbers were not real posters. The ID's were placed or revived, manipulated and burned out by purposeful workers of this medium. The idea of self policing threads won't always work, often an improper post is the result of deliberate manipulation of the medium, that should be obvious.
