Yes, Del, isn't that cult in Texas amazing? Of course most of us know there is a big difference between mainstream congregations and these small groups who end up drinking the poisoned Kool-Aid or waiting for a spaceship to pick them up.

I am afraid when God comes on March 25th I will not know it, because I do not have cable and therefore do not get Channel 18. But if there really is a God I am sure he would not discriminate against people who cannot afford cable or do not have televisions for some reason, so I believe it is a false alarm.

There is something unnerving about the Millennium, however, perhaps because in so many belief systems the end is coming. I know it is embedded in my psyche somehow, and I am feeling a little edgy. I will be relieved when it is all over, but somehow in the back of my mind I can remember that something very striking is poised to happen in May, 2002, and I think that might be from Nostradamus. Does anyone remember this in more detail?
