Ok. You sold out of the money puts. But with just $20,000 I still see no way you could have sold enough contracts to realize an 8x profit in 8 months. Even if you had been selling in the money puts I doubt such a return was possible with just $20,000 on margin. Please detail your ORBI trades since July so I can better understand you.

I've noticed that often when a stock has a large run-up, it gains a lot of transient fans, who often do extensive cheerleading. I remember a time last year when the ORBI thread was so dead, people were basically begging each other to post something, anything, to keep the thread alive. Now that it has tripled in under a year, there are no shortage of posts. So, please understand why some may have some doubts about bullish posts regarding ORBI, and the people who write them. I expect to see a lot of new names on this thread when TRMB hits the 30s, and this thread might be swamped with posts when TRMB hits the 50s.

I think a rise in the value of ORBI will help TRMB (stock price) immensely because they are perceived to be in related fields and move in sympathy with each other to a certain extent. While ORBI is probably a more exciting company than TRMB (I've invested in ORBI too at times) with all the rockets they've been shooting into space, I have doubts about their ability to maintain growth. They seem to have gotten a little too big, and their ever increasing backlog may reflect it. Furthermore, I haven't liked their eagerness to dilute shareholder value by selling more stock. At the present level, I think ORBI has much downside potential in addition to its upside potential. So, Angelo, I'll be buying those cheap out of the money puts you've been selling :)
