You must be kidding, right??? Fleckenstink has been preaching gloom and doom for the techs for at least two years during which time the NASDAQ and tech stocks have set record after record. This guy has been short during one of the biggest bull runs in history and if he doesn't have the single worse track record on WS during this time, he has to be close. "Making a killing"??? LOL....need I remind you that most tech stocks are much much closer to their highs than their two years lows. You make it sound like he just established his short positions on a few days ago. The NASDAQ is still just barely off of its all time high. Obviously there currently are some downward pressures on tech earnings (much of which is attributable to Asia; something Fleckenstink never predicted). How long this will last is anyones guess. If you predict gloom and doom year after year after year sooner or later you will run into a slowdown and be "right". This hardly makes him a hero or genius. Facts are facts, and the fact is that Fleckenstink's reading of the tech industry during this historic bull run has been all wet and people who listened to his advice have either lost bundles of money or opportunity. Fleckenstein made his predictions three + years ago, shorted Intel way back then and is STILL HEAVILY UNDER WATER on his Intel short! He predicted 4 out of the last 1 PC recessions. I guess that makes him a genius - wrong 4 times, correct 1 time, and bearing heavy losses. Paul
