To ALL: Like many of you I've been collecting phone numbers, email addresses, and website URLs trying to better understand ZULU-tek as an investment. At the risk of being called a KISS@SS and TRANSPARANT -- again (yes I'm still pissed - you jerk), let me share an email from Tom Burgess, that I was fortunate to be one of the few out of 30+ emails he was able to respond to.

Before I actually received this, the press release about Universal Commerce was released, so please excuse the timing. As Tom has requested, please feel free to send me your questions and I will forward them on to Tom. So everyone understands, Tom may not be able to answer some questions on this forum...some are left best to be presented in a Press Release, like UniversalCommerce. Here it is.....

Rick,

As you may imagine I'm getting deluged with emails from investigating
investors. I am happy to answer as many questions as you all have but it is impossible to do it one at a time. Can YOU help me out? Please "respectfully" ask the SI folks to try and group your questions.....today alone I have received over 30 emails (not all SI) and it will not be possible to answer all questions and remain on top of the day to day operations. Thanks in advance for the help on this.

>Let me start with what's important in life....congrats on your baby!

Thanks!

>As you can imagine, we're feeling pretty low these days with the
>one-sided discussion provided by Wired Magazine. I think you
>guys have a great idea in merging Softbank Interactive Marketing
>with your EchoMedia technology! Can we expect a reinforcing
>announcement on the strength of ZULU soon?

Yes, we are splitting our efforts 50% sales/customer service (keep the $ coming in) and 50% company structure and financial reporting. Both of these efforts are currently producing and will continue to produce positive press/results in the very near future.

>Now there are rumors that Wired Magazine might point out that
>UniversalCommerce wasn't really acquired like a previous press
>release had stated. Is that true?

I guess this is the new "big" question?? As usual no one wants to talk about the positive things like $35+mil in sales (more than most of our competitors combined), they need to find some sliver of potentialy negative info and harp on that....ya know the song "Dirty Laundry" :)

The fact is that we are working very closely with UC and have been for a long time. Charles Rose (founder UC) is one of my original partners in Echomedia and a very close friend. I asked him to comment on the purchase of UC and here was his reply:

I decided to make it the press release that was released yesterday.

>Please help get the financials out...that will turn around the
>mob.

As I mentioned above, 50% of our overall effort is committed to these
issues. Financials are being prepared as we speak and we will release
information as soon as it is complete. I don't know how many of the folks on SI have prepared financial statements for public companies before but considering what we have been through in the last 6 months (acquisitions, mergers etc..) we are moving at light speed to produce statements.

>I noticed that you have a website reserved with a name of
>LightSpeed Data. Is that something in the works for ZULU?

This is a name that came up in a meeting but it is being used by too many other companies. We put it in the trash.

>I had also heard that the company is meeting tomorrow with the
>Federal Trade Commission with regards to the merger. I haven't
>heard of this needing to be done to complete mergers before. What's
>the reason for the special interest from the FTC? Are the financials
>from Price Waterhouse complete to support the meeting?

FTC?? This is beautiful :) who do these guys think we are talking to NBC? HAHAhahaha. I didn't get the impression from our conversation yesterday that you were so familiar with M&A proceedings.

One guy said he was only interested in the facts. The facts are....

We are working our @sses off to in an effort to complete a major (long
term) run at the internet advertising business. Short of moving the Earth and Sun, in the past 6 months we have done all things needed to construct a strong and profitable business. If people on SI like what they see then I welcome them aboard, if they don't like it then (their big boys) they can walk away. In the mean time we are going to continue to work diligently on making Zulu-tek a screaming success. No hidden agendas just hard work.....

BTW...Charles Rose is a very close friend of mine and has been for
years. If anyone on SI care to discuss my personal life they better
get a very good lawyer or be extremely careful what they say.....I do
not take my personal life or family life lightly.

>Thanks for hanging in there and for supporting us!

With a little help from you I hope to continue this effort.

Cheers,
Tom
