gene....You can say CPQ's channels were stuffed but it can also be said INTC's channels were stuffed. INTC was pushing out the Pchips like CPQ, HWP, IBM were pushing out the boxes. In the short run the market is going to soak up all this channel inventory at bargain prices at the expense of the higher end boxes. Dell will be hurt with lost sales and the others will be hurt with discounted sales. The whole pc industry will correct and we'll move forward. Time will tell but the portfolio manager won't be buying until the correction has been made.
