So, JD, Bill was a gentleman and McNealy a thug. Who's McNealy's Joachim Kempin? You got to admire an enforcer who can send OEMs like Compaq whimpering to Ballmer for mercy.

You and Fred Moody were charmed by Bill's candor, eh? Do you think perhaps you might be reading a little bit of your own bias into this? I didn't watch any of the hearings, of course, obsessed though I am. Picture worth a thousand words isn't something I hold with. Antimonopolist that I am, we don't have cable. Aside from the Microsoft loyalists at the WSJ, the reporting I read was somewhat at odds with your view. Of course, the WSJ is the only objective source, the rest of those reporters are all a bunch of leftists. Right? WSJ would never let their reporting be biased by all those joint ventures, would they?

Cheers, Dan.
