<Kind of hard to compare CPQ to ASND. At least CPQ makes money>

Dave, not to get too far off topic, but ASND has not lost money in any recent
period. ASND earned .20 last quarter. Far better than what CPQ is talking
about......0 profit this quarter.

My reference to ASND was only to suggest that CPQ will likely appreciate in much
the same manner that ASND has since Jan. 1.

Those of us at the Ascend tread smell the blood in the water over here and can definitely tell you this is not a good comparison. However, earnings announcements such as these are usually a death nil.

My only concern at the moment is raising a little cash so I can buy more
shares @ < $25!

Larry

Don't be in such a big hurry...you aren't even close to the bottom yet...IMO I thought about buying Monday but realized there will probably only be a small amount of relief after the bloodletting that will occur on Monday. Until a major change occurs and earnings move up this stock will remain in trouble for a while. Speculation aside.

It may be wise to buy some puts on the next false rally...at least you will have some protection.

Perhaps its time Compaq to rethink its distribution system?
