Ibexx and all,

Kudos to SI for the latest and greatest at the bottom of the page! They just keep getting better. I'll be very curious, come Monday, to see if the price/volume info provided is continually updated. Anyone know if SI sells t-shirts? I'd be happy to buy one and give them some free advertising.

Regards, JB

Ibexx,

Monday will tell; I might agree with you if the market hadn't shrugged off Intel's warning last week only to now have it followed by CompUSA and Compaq (and reportedly, IBM is in a shape similar to Compaq but has not yet reported this publicly; also, PC's are only a portion of IBM's business, vs. all of Compaq's).

Bob Brinker said on today's show that Compaq has over one-hundred days worth of inventory, vs Dell at about 10 days, and that this inventory loses up to 1% per week of value while sitting on the shelf.

You may be right about Monday, but I think we are in for a blood bath for the next 4 to 6 weeks, almost across the board in technology.
