Penni, What timing! Look what I managed to snag last night: www3.techstocks.com I did it in exactly the ladylike manner you would have expected of me. No unseemly pushiness or gloating. Of course, I must admit that most Intel thread regulars don't care about the "finer" things in life, like 00 numbers, and no one saw fit to throw me a party. Diane

Dear Ms Penni; Belated report about Valentines day, this was not a big one this year. I swipe a Hallmark ditty, but made a card on my computer wif my new color printer and have not told her yet that i swiped the verse. I'm beginning to feel a little guilty about taht, not about swiping it, but about not telling her i did. I had spotted a card with Bears on it and copied it down as we sort of refer to ourselves as being happier than the average Bears, It went.. To my better Half , Half of us is nicer than the other half , it's true. And half of us is sweeter, and that half, of course , is you.. But though you are the better half, As everyone can see, There isn't any doubt at all..the lucky half is me ! I got up early and served her breakfast in bed and humbly gave her my home made card. She was real sweet and acted so thrilled, that ( censored ) :-) ------------------ Latter She was wanting to loaf around that day so we didn't go any where. She gave me of all things a set of car seat covers, now how she knew I wanted a set I don't know because I never mentioned them. Then latter still I slipped out to her most favorite eating place called Ryans, and brought home a take out meal. -------------------- She likes thin mints ( so do I ) so I bought several packs and put them in the frig. and as we watched our nightly TV show I fed her some mints. --------------------------- Now there is still one mint left sitting in the frig, right where she can see it every time she opens the door ( she resists eating the last one and won't buy herself any )..any way I'm keeping my eye on it , and still waiting for her to have a moment of weakness, and eat it. As I have a hidden stash and I'm just dyeing to replace that single mint to see what will transpire , taht is if she will ever eat it before I eat up all the stash... --------------- She gave me a card too, a sort of generic one but her hand written note inside almost made me cry so I ain't going to talk about taht. I'm sorry the report is late, I just had some silly things to do and kept putting it off. I use to be the best procrastinator in the whole wide world, it was such a habit taht I just sometimes slip right back into it. I hope you can find room in your heart to forgive me, and I'll try to do better in the future. Jim
