To all here because they are drinking coffee, looking for interesting topics, or live here a lot.

May we pray together? I hope this is timely, and not after the fact.

PRECIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER, GOD OF LIGHT AND ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL, WHO GAVE US JESUS CHRIST, MAY WE BE WORTHY OF YOUR LOVE AND BLESSINGS UPON US.

I LIFT MY BROTHER GREGOR AND WHATEVER SITUATION IN HIS LIFE NOW CAUSES HIM CONCERN. WE KNOW WITHOUT DOUBT THAT YOU OWN THE CATTLE ON EVERY HILL, THE BUSINESSES IN EVERY TOWN, YOU CONTROL ALL PEOPLE IN AUTHORITY, AND ALL OF THE EARTH IS AT YOUR FEET THROUGH THE POWER OF INTERCESSION OF PRAYER. WE NOW PRAY THAT ALL THINGS WILL WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD IN GREGOR'S CIRCUMSTANCES, AND THAT ONLY YOUR WILL BE DONE IN HIS LIFE.

WE ASK THIS IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, AND AS HE SO INSTRUCTED, THAT WE SHOULD ASK OF YOU IN THE NAME OF YOUR SON, AND YOU WILL ACT UPON THESE PRAYERS. WE ASK THAT ALL OBSTACLES BE REMOVED FROM GREGOR'S LIFE AND HE BE FREE TO CONTINUE TO SERVE YOU IN NEWNESS OF LIFE.

BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WE PRAY. AMEN.

Jane, wow...I'm still digesting the first part of your post, where you analyzed "those books" so accurately. What first caught my eye was that, during the portions where they are tracking down the Priory and figuring out who these people are, the document the snot out of everything, with voluminous footnotes and so forth. But when they get into the older stuff, both with regard to the Templars and NT times, there's no documentation. They make broad suppositions without any evidence whatsoever.

I'm not an end-timer, although I find it vaguely interesting from a historical perspective. The way I see it, my end time could be on the way home this afternoon in a car crash, or even before then with a heart attack at my desk. If I'm not ready now, it may be too late. Who cares, then, if I would have been ready at the Millenium?

Of to the Iditarod! In Christ, Ken.
