I did not mean to imply that I shorted DELL, if that's what it looked like.

Although tempted to stay short the SP8H contracts, I bought OEX puts. Starting next week I will be moving a large amount of cash into the account specifically for the purpose of staying short or long the S&P contracts overnight.

Although now that I just actually see my own words in print it scares me just a bit. Perhaps I shall not. Precipitous declines are very rare but the image of Victor Neiderhofer popped up.

Although I tend to think DELL shall sag somewhat under the weight of what I believe will be a broad pullback (not the "next" pullback, as I think the market will drop, rally to new highs, and then get slammed), it is still a stock I would be happy to own. High praise from me, as personally I have no use for stock and may just be the worst stock picker on SI.

What shocked me about Friday's last hour was the total absence of profit-taking or short-selling. The market is so liquidity driven that people are manic. Poor valuations and bad announcements are brushed aside in an effort to go parabolic. Once it does go parabolic it's definitely over. The Kahuna Thread will be number 1 on Hot Subjects for a week.

I only hope I live that long.
