Looking at the Compaq and Ballard Power threads, I see quotes and a chart at the bottom of the page. Can we expect to see that here as well?

I believe, like you, that the more usefull information you are exposed to, the better prepared you are to make an informed decision!

If someone decides to sell their stock, that is their decision. It however, is conscrewed (is that a word) into a "chicken out" or finally relenting to shorters pressure". If you hold the stock then you are berrated by shorters who know better!! What ever happened to place your bets! He who wins gets the bragging rights, sort of discussion group????

Believe it or not Ladies and Gentleman short/long people can live harmoniously!! Assuming everyone maintains a positive and "humorous" attitude.

I presently own a stock that a friend is shorting. I go over to his place every once in awhile to measure up his garage and backyard because I insist I will own it, through his bankruptcy of course!!

Anyone who believes that shorters are evil has never bothered to make money in a true bear market and sits quietly hoping the bull will return. I am presently reading everything I can on "HOW to SHORT". So that I may take advantage of the pending bear and not sit this one out like the others, in the past.

I would assume my nature will not change by shorting a stock. I would also hope that people would be interested as to why I did choose "their" stock and either dismiss or listen to the reasoning. I would also hope that I would not be so immature that I would utter things like "ITS TANKING", etc. etc.

Lastly, I believe everyone is a newcomer to a thread when they have not participated in the present discussion!! It's like technology, if youare not participating everyday of your life then it leaves you behind very quickly!! So I include myself in the "newcomer group". No offence intended!
Such is life!!!
