Hello, Well the way I see it Osicom had a in the black quarter. Considering the losses in the last 2 quarters i think we did all right. After all it would be better to have stronger Q1 in 1999
then adding a few cents to a year that was in the red anyway.
correct me if i am wrong but the q3 backlog was 28 mill sales 4th quarter were 30 mill in sales. and the the new backlog of 21 mill. Does that mean Osicom only had 23 million in new sales in the 4th quarter? That number concerns me if i am right. Are we profitable now?

Regards mr ed

Grant,

After the earning announcement and the conference call, I do not see that there is a lot of need for longs to aggressively argue their position for the company. For those who can see, the company has finally arrived on the launching pad, and ready to take off. From this point on I expect see the reward for our investment and faith in the company and its technology beginning to pour in.

Also, at this stage of the company, I do not mind a bit the Craigs or Barbs of the world shorting the company. I hope that they are successful in driving down the price by getting some weak hands to panic, though I doubt that they will have too much success. I would love to buy more at lower prices. So, please, Craig and Barb, try hard and do a good job.

By the way, I saw this post on Yahoo. Other than couple of strong words, it really sums up the situation well.

Sheep and lemmings are prone to being led,
won't exaggerate your impact on OSI price (overall), but have witnessed your influence based on numerous inquiries...ala "Barb, how long do I marinate before I grill?". I too, daytrade....would love to compare results...but, being in telecoms for 20 years (leading companies) and familiar with technology, requirements and demand, am long on fibr....and have been quietly accumulating...Please feel free to short, you can borrow my shares....probably not different brokers.....but, you need to realize that you have obviously influenced SOME on this thread to panic, bail and run based on your messages....Barb, that is manipulation, especially, when you time the message along with your transaction. Since you are satisfied with 1/16th profit, stiking the match with one of your pronouncements (I believe) has led to some shares to be sold, not many 2,000 or 5,000 or 10,000....just enough for you to eeeeeek out a small profit. Good Luck to you as you bottom fish, but don't have the guise of Mother Teresa or that out stretched "helping hand", when your personal agenda, is so
obviously geared to leading lemmings off the cliff. Again, have long way to sink before pain sets-in, so short away, one press release or one sale or one new Board member or one new analyst to cover fibr or one alliance announcement and you will get your just reward....all the bad news is already built into fibr's price.....I hope the young Elf-boy will recover from respecting and emulating a simple cheap slut. J-. hand" >>

Relax and have fun all you longs, we have waited for this for a long time.
