50% in 90 days !!

Would a return like that be a good short ?

Part of the power of these high flyers like YHOO , AMZN , etc
is they divert focus from many good plays as every one becomes
fascinated with being "the one" to slay the dragon. Would
a 50% return on a YHOO short be more satisfying than a 50%
return on a company no one cares about ?

I just ran a screen on stocks that have lost 50% in the last
90 days and there were 13 on the NAZ and 23 on the NYSE.
None from AMEX , not sure what that means , yet.

I only recognized 1 ticker symbol from an SI thread

For screen parameters of -25% in 30 days , I got
34 on NAZ and 15 NSYE.

Again , I only recognized 1 ticker

The shorts are out there , we just have to work a little harder
in this market to find them ???? (myself included)

Those are pretty generous annualized returns. I'm sure a more
modest rate would reveal a good number more.

Telling myself to concentrate on companies no one cares
about and make money the old fashioned way....quietly.

The screen is located at :

209.26.69.40

The symbol I recognized from an SI thread ?

P.S. HMSC , mentioned Monday as topping this week
in this thread closed down 19% on Friday from it's high on Wednesday. <g>
