GN,

I have to agree with you there, but the retailer will still have to set the prices on machines that were manufactured in some previous cycle, with the parts that were available at that time! The pressure to 'unload' will increase as the 'new' stuff is released containing more stuff, speed and a lower price.

When the retailer can't 'move' the computer, can he return it to CPQ? If he does return it, what does CPQ od with it, or is it off the the discount place?

Being a retailer in the 'computer' has got to feel like 'russian roulette' with an 'automatic'!

Regards,

Ken
