To all,

Mason, Compaq's CFO told the San Jose Mercury News that if all goes as expected Compaq will be in good shape (inventory wise) by the end of the second quarter.

I think CPQ will be at 27 or better by next Friday's close if not sooner.

Best to all,

LJM

buy..?

Jim,

We're talking about a corporate announcement here, not whisper numbers spread by rumor. Would CPQ really announce bad news in order to buy back it's own stock lower? I don't think so.

you tossed darts to pick stocks

Anal-cysts are an entirely different story. Not worth the paper they are wiped with.
