regarding 3com earnings release date... yes, i received email responses from two different individuals at 3com IR that said "check the FAQ page on our IR site by week's end for posting of date". like you, i've checked and it's not there. both people (at this point suffering from credibility problems!) also said announcement to be made "the week of the 23rd". this after one had previously told me "the second week of march". so... what do we have here? harkens back to a post from about a week or two ago that quoted the prison warden in the movie "cool hand luke"... what we have here is a failure to communicate! if i may be permitted to use the dreaded "f" word just one time, i have a feeling that the company will beat earnings, so i don't care too much when they announce it. regards, mr.mark
