I still see no where that netscape can make money from.

client: as long as Miccrsoft give away IE free, Netscape is not
going to charge anyone for the use of browser.

Server: More and more companies are moving to NT platform. Soon or
Later, they are or will switch to MSFT server. MSFT knows
How to cut "throat" of netscape.

This is a "live" or "die" fight for both parties. Only one survivor,
which most of us believe to be MSFT.

buyout: This is a hopeless hope for people bought NSCP at much higher
price. From both current earning and future potantial, NSCP
is not going to make much money in any near future. Yet it is
forced to spend lot of money on R&D to keep up with MSFT.
I agree this netscape is not worth more than 10. It does not
make sense now to entry the market, too risky.

If I am the buyer, I would wait until it drops to bellow 10,
which I believe, if there were no buyout rumor, it already
there. It just not worth it to pay 2B for such a company.

just my thought.

Leo, Thanks for your reply. I too am short Dell! So we are on the same side on that one. I actually have silently been considering myself fortunate that Nscp has stayed so close to 20. I have not bought back calls. I feel the market will get hit this month and part of April. I am not a TA guy but do follow the charts and the charts say we will get a correction. Common sense says so too. Everyone was predicting a sideways to 10% up year. We already have that and more from the lows of January. I am short Mu and Dell in technology with Nscp my only long position. My plan is to wait through next friday. If not assigned, I will sell calls again. If we get the correction I expect, I can buy them back cheaply. Thanks again for your input! Sincerely, Steve D.
