Would someone please explain to me what usually happens when people who are short try to cover?? Is that what they call a squeeze?? PLease explain about shorts and covering. I have sold short before and know what that means but I don't really understand what happens when alot of shares are trying to cover?

Any help appreciated

The short position, or at least part of it could be investors that are hedged (sold short with the intent to cover from a conversion of preferred stock) vs. the private placement last year. One way to find out is to watch for the increase in number of shares outstanding as the convertable preferred is changed into common and the total outstanding goes up quarter to quarter. The other way is to call them and ask em.
