BigKNY#, The Feb/1998 CNS Spectrum (The International Journal of Neuropsychiatric Medicine) has the reassuring photo of Ali in the cover (talking about subtle voices in ads).

The subject of impotence is rarely discuss in journals of this type, in full length, or a journal specific to a condition like Parkinson's. Now all of the sudden a full article. Well new drugs bring new interest to the subject. The Pfizer ad just there, there was another ad from Pfizer in the journal about Aricept. Pfizer paid the ads and that is my only implication. Plus the very last subtitle and paragraph with sildenafil/viagra information and no side effects, nothing about drug interactions. The same article that did talk about the complexities of the multiple drugs and problems in the Parkinson's patients. This guy hit it by pure luck.

I called it a masterpiece just because of the coincidence (any implications are from the mind of the reader). I gave you the facts.

Pfizer did not spread missinformation. The author of the article did.
Pfizer paid two ads in the journal.

Pfizer will never violate FDA guidelines because of their management experience. Vivus did even after the product was approved, Leland does not have the experience.

I have seen errors in journals, but this one is ludicrous and obviously bias. This is the type of "information" physicians will be getting, the recent use of "recreational" drugs demonstrates how many physicians behave, and the lure of the pill will be unavoidable.
I provided the article references to show how physicians are "educated" by the run of the mill "journals". Easy to confirm getting the article.
