I agree with the general management gripes, but... I still believe that there are some real deals going on quietly, that *will* generate revenues. That's why I'm still holding my CCEE. Despite past history, there are some pluses with this company. Softworks is continuing to generate growing revenues. So, in the absolute worst case, the company won't be going under any time soon. The services division, and efforts of folks like Garbe and Cannavino, will likely have a positive impact on the company. I think this has more realistic potential for results than Perot's dealings in the past. Finally, despite our dissatisfaction with mgmt and our questioning of their qualifications, the fact is that dbExpress *has* been developed into a slick web/JAVA-based billing analysis application that is *marketable*. It *could* have remained a desktop application and withered on the vine. But, instead, remember that a lucrative deal *has* been signed with BT, and additional ones with Bell Atlantic, Sears, etc., may be in the works. This stuff may take a little while to show up on the bottom line. And, esp. with penny stocks, the share price is very much a product of speculation and MM activities when the net earnings are negative. When a company becomes profitable, then the share price locks into the earnings figures and their projected growth rate much more sensibly. My opinion is that earnings will turn around and become consistently positive by the end of this year. The share price will appreciate sharply accordingly, and rise from it's current "quietly depressed" levels. And, when earnings come in, any effect of a possible reverse split will be moot. This because the oft-dreaded reverse split often occurs because a company is failing and its stock is dwindling accordingly. If a company turns around and generates revenues, then the reverse is truly a consolidation exercise that brings the price into a more attractive range for large investors and does not dilute or reduce shareholder equity one whit. All of this is just my current assessment/prognostications on this stock. I think that the outlook will look very different here (in a positive sense!) within a month or less. $^)
