Oilex has value, about 14 million at last 10QSB, that needs to be captured by the current shareholders. How can this come about? Will an acquisition by another company provide that value? I know everyone is concerned that Caye Chappel is going to get OLEX for nothing and if Caye Chappel converted Oilex shares today it would take about 15 oilex shares to equal 1 Caye Chappel share. Now once converted to Caye Chappel would Chappel be able to deliver that value over say the next 12 to 24 months. If you own 15 shares of Oilex and get 1 share of Caye Chappel will you be better off in a year owning Caye Chappel or would it be better that Oilex remains independent?

What I have been reading in Caye Chappel's press releases is that they are paying book value for their most recent acquisitions. If they are after Oilex isn't it reasonable to assume that they will pay fair value for those assets as well? Depending upon your calculation of shares outstanding the worst case here is about $1.10 per share. So for every Oilex share you could receive .3 Caye Chappel shares worst case. If Caye Chappel has growth potentional over the next year then you are better off with Caye Chappel. But if Caye Chappel is buying up Oilex shares now then the remaining shareholders could get a much better deal if and when an acquisition is announced.
