people need not upgrade their pc's so long as the various high speed options remain outside the consumer's reach. i do not care how fast my machine is, so long as i only have a 56k or less modem, my cpu is not the bottleneck. I see you do need a faster connection. My connection is quick enough that my CPU can get behind at certain times. That is not an insult to the Mac:-) this is why cpq and others are pushing dsl solution, As we have all discussed, the backbone needs upgraded first. I can attest to that during weekday business hours. Glenn
