The other big downside risk is that techs in general, and KLIC in particular, have been so volatile. Look at KLIC's range in the past 12 mos. Or five years. Same good co. all that time, right?

But it seems to me that volume on KLIC is up over the past. Is that true? Is that good? It seems to me it is. More interest = better rating. Maybe the Street will finally understand us sensitive '90s guys who invest in semiconductors.

The latest S&P book rates KLIC only a B-, and they don't go much under that rating in my cursory reading of the document.

I'm wary, but I like KLIC at anything under $20.
