Your not stupid. I am also shut out by a hockey game as we speak, I'm also listening to Bob clear as a bell over the web. Assuming you have a sound card and speakers on your PC, go to realaudio.com. (if you dont have Real Player on your PC already). Perform the free download of the software. Be sure to pick the right platform..ie Win 3.1, Win95, Mac, or whatever your running. Once the download is complete, go to your file manager and double click on the .exe file you downloaded. This will launch you into a set-up screen of Real Audio (the software that enables you to tune in). Follow the on-screen prompts until the installation is complete. Now that you've lived through that, go to bobbrinker.com. Click on the "Moneytalk" tab. Scroll down and you will see a long list of stations that provide the broadcast. Since it is live, you will sometimes encounter the same hassle you experienced today (hockey games etc.). I seem to have good luck with the station out of Spokane Washington. Go ahead and give it a shot, you will be glad you did.

Bob is still bullish. He said "I believe we can take out 9000 in the dow in 1998". He does not believe the earnings shorfalls announced this week will hamper the current bull run. He also stated that any pullbacks would be minimal. He spoke a fair amount on Intel stating the company needs come to grips with the fundamental market shift to sub $1000 PC's. He believes too, that Compaq's earnings warning will not help Dell since price competition is likely to occur.

Regards,

Joe
