Here! Here! Furthermnore, EP's comments about the entire 1998 being below prior years flies in the face of what Mason said earlier. Also EP saying that this is more than a one quarter problem flies in the face of what Mason said earlier. Like I said before - cpq is entering new ground here and the current management of cpq isn't quite sure what hit them. EP is being challenged like he has never been challenged before at cpq. Can he step up to the plate and take care of the problem? Time will tell.

Robbie...Yes I did question the "comfortable" issue from Mason. It precipitated the response you replied to. The CFO of a major company can not be allowed to make this type of mistake. My guess is he will be replaced, not now but at more settled time. There is no other way because as you put it, he has lost all credibility.

The moment when he said he did not have february number, but he was comfortable with January number, I knew he was lying since it was the end of February already and he should have a feeling for it. He just did not want to disclose it. I knew the trouble is coming. I just did not know they would warn so soon and so severe.
