The page you are looking at can be confusing. Checking the same page but for Hong Kong, it says Globex trades SnP's from 5:45AM to 10:45PM CT. This overlays RTH.

Again, I do not think it of any consequence when Globex stops trading, although I still think it's 8. What I think Bloomberg is doing is providing the runoff.

Further, I am jaded by CNBC's reporting and would not even know Mr. Haines was reporting on Globex were it not in that report I posted.

So other than for one of us posting on any response we get from the CME I'd like to let this go, as I have been remiss in doing other stuff around here.

Got this just now from an active spoo trader.

Hi Patrick,

Globex closes at 8:15 Central time. Some months ago the moved the pit
opening back to 8:15 and the Globex close to 8:00. A few weeks later they
changed it back to Globex closing at 8:15 and pit opening at 8:30. I assume
it was to keep every one confused, which explaines their not correcting the
web pages.

So 8:15, I stand corrected.
