Here's my theory on the TV (probably way off, but what the heck). David Marr II was most recently employed by NBC as broadcaster/analyst...The parvalue site is run in cooperation with Golf.com w/ties to NBC sports (the NBC logo appears on the parvalue site). So, my guess is NBC on a tape delay basis. What better way for the NBC crew to say "goodbye" to Marr II, than by broadcasting his memorial tournament...?

I found this little bit of info on the senior Marr
igolf.com

It's interesting to note who his 1965 Ryder Cup playing partners were....Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino....hmmm.

TBS airing Senior Slam tonight which is a 36 hole 4 man competition from Los Cabos Mexico. Competition includes Gil Morgan, Hale Irwin, Isao Aoki, and Graham Marsh. This is probably what you saw advertised. No doubt if TBS had been advertising for the Classic, press release would have been out already.
