LOL...you are too emotional!!! read my lips..I said CPQ problems is "SHORT TERM"..besides CPQ stated their problem is in "North American market" but I stated the general problem CPQ w/ the domino effects of all the TECH SECTORS ... And who said I'm "short" w/ CPQ?? Ever heard of "mass psychology" and domino effect?? Price of CPQ SHORT TERM will be based on those TWO reason I stated plus the chart (bearish direction, NOT based on FUNDAMENTALS of CPQ.. Do you know how to read a chart? by quickly looking at it, u can tell the support and resistance...u should be thankful, by saying a "strong" support from $19 1/2 since it means IF CPQ hit that price and it will unlikely not to break it, it will be the beginning of price basing and the "start of recovery." So if you are a long term investor, why fear CPQ prices at all?? And stop picking my post based on ASIA , that's NOT what I had said... btw, what do you know about Asia besides reading it on the magazines and paper? Have you been there? Oh yeah the Asian stock had recovers some but the "economies" DID NOT.. Asia and their problem will continue until 1998 or maybe beyond...lots of people are jobless, interest are high, bureaucratic govt., lower standard of living etc...etc...so the problem is STILL THERE... If you have the time, try reading some books about mass market pyschology during bull and bear times... it will enhance your thinking.. Oh yeah, I remember it was you who compare INTC and CPQ earlier...Intel has 80% of the chip market and CPQ has 15%(??) of computer market?? Intel has almost a monopoly on the chip while CPQ do not so INTC can rebound earlier and/or probably will have higher PE than CPQ... BTW, If you want to respond to my post again... Can we talk about PE of CPQ instead?? mean estimate is $1.23 w/ PE of 22 based on $27 5/8 closing price Friday... Do you think its "fairly value" at that PE?? <hint..hint.. think market pyschology> ... now do u think all I post is "imaginations"??.....end of discussions..
