Peter,

You might find the following threads interesting input to deciding if it can be done. I recently went through All-Tech's extensive training program and just started live trading. I learned a lot about how the market works, how to use the ATTAIN trading workstation, and had lots of practice "paper trading" in an environment that makes a legitimate attempt to be realistic. While paper trading can never be the real thing, at least you get a good look at the market gyrations before putting up your money. I felt the experience was worthwhile, but you may already know a lot that I did not.

There are people who do very well daytrading. Whether that includes you or me can only be determined by making the attempt. Obviously, to do that you need to be able to invest some time and money

To Peter Rooney,

I haven't really heard anything outstanding about Alltech. I've heard good things about Block and Broadway. I'm also looking for a firm to daytrade at. What other ones have you looked into?

Thanks
