Peter, You might find the following threads interesting input to deciding if it can be done. I recently went through All-Tech's extensive training program and just started live trading. I learned a lot about how the market works, how to use the ATTAIN trading workstation, and had lots of practice "paper trading" in an environment that makes a legitimate attempt to be realistic. While paper trading can never be the real thing, at least you get a good look at the market gyrations before putting up your money. I felt the experience was worthwhile, but you may already know a lot that I did not. There are people who do very well daytrading. Whether that includes you or me can only be determined by making the attempt.
