I'm surely not picking at your statement, but if CPQ has this "inventory" problem, would we not be seeing a lay off for 3-4 weeks to reduce production/inventory.

Has there been a layoff?

I live in Houston and I think I would have certainly heard of a layoff. I work in manufacturing and if you wish to pull down inventory you stop producing or increase sales or both.

Has CPQ done either or both of these.

Does anyone know the answer to these questions.
Inventories of 2 or 3 extra weeks do not send your stock price into a nose-dive, especially if you are cash strong anyway.
