I think that there is NO telling. The little man (like myself) is just not privy enough to enough info. to be able to tell fo sure. My cost basis is 34 - and so far I have lost big time - but guess what?! this is technology ok? Hellward one quarter heavenward the next. The real question is where will this shake out and just as diring is are you short term or long? If long then breathe easy if short then not so quite easy. Compaq represents the tech. revolution that started about 15 or 20 years ago and a track record means a whole lot when things will be the same in the futhre (if not more even so) Back to the old been there thing and know where you are going thing. Just imagine the technology base that they have at their finger tips to CONTINUE to rampage like in the past. Good aquisition I think - but only if you are long. Stay long. Short trading will catch up with you.
