I agree with you. I didn't get a chance to try VocalTech's product at the show, but the following should be painfully obvious to everyone:

Why in the world would a player in this market, at a show like CT EXPO, demonstrate anything less than the best product they produce?

It makes no sense at all! My take is they demonstrated their own DVG and also offered the IP Phone thing without a demo.

I'de be willing to bet the farm that you talked on the best, and not the worst, VocalTech has to offer. The $49.95 setup consists of 2 tin cylinders connected by monofilament line. (slightly updated version of the ol'e can and string.)

Please don't pay any attention to that Campbell's Soup label on the side - they get the cans for free if they agree not to remove the label from the can.

It's a toy. Fred Flintstone had a better phone!
