John: I don't know what the long term future is for DTPI but here are a few observations:
1) The lead underwriters are Goldman, Sachs & Co., Lehman Brothers Inc., and Adams, Harkness & Hill, Inc., a pretty solid group, IMO.
2) Management will be going on a road show.. with positive things to say, I'm sure. Do you think they would be offering shares for sale in the near future if this quarter (at least) was weak? I doubt it.
3) The underwriters want to sell the shares so they will have positive things to say, as well.
4) The shares are destined for institutional clients, IMO.
5) I haven't read the S-1 so I can't tell you if these institutions can "flip" the shares (which would hurt the small shareholders), or if there are restrictions on selling.

John,

I am thinking about adding to my LASX position after the reverse split. I cannot figure out how the pieces fit between LASX, XCLvision, Who Vision and SFE. What is your best estimate.
