Go to Calico's website and check out how many new customers they've got in the last year. From what I hear they've got two new customers. They've also had a lot of executive and field sales turnover. I believe Siebel tried a partnership with Calico as they have a mutual customer at Cisco. Siebel then tried something with Concentra, perhaps as a marketing relationship leading to an acquisition, but I haven't heard of much success coming out of it. So it sounds like Siebel goes it alone or perhaps buys one of the hot new upstarts like Selectica.
