Michael, Neither Christine nor I ever claimed that Christians were responsible for every atrocity on Earth. That is a perception that is in your head that you can't seem to shake. We have both cited specific examples that the Vatican and other Christian leaders certainly had a hand in. This in no way blames the Christians followers unless they were a part of and/or approved of the atrocities. In the same way, I do not blame the Iraqi people for the misdeeds of Saddam Hussein. Even most of the men in his army were conscripted, and have no choice but to obey orders, or be shot.

Helping Nazi criminals to escape to South America after the war strongly suggests the Vatican had an active role in the rise of Naziism, and was trying to cover that up. Why do you think they are now apologizing if there was no role?

The only thing that I fault the Christian body for is for being easily manipulated sheep.
