Gary; As per my low opinion of Reuters,
I don't know of any news service that just a news service,
to some degree they all have despotic motives. In a struggle
for power, I'm of the opinion that the News Media in general
has forsaken the basic journalistic values of reporting news,
and shamelessly given into political, economical, and other
personal agendas using any means including sensationalism,
to forward their personal agendas.
That I see Reuters as one of the more despotic in the so
called free world is a personal opinion.
I don't care to get drawn into explaining why, as
I have the right to that opinion and I don't want to
degrade that right by feeling I have to justify it.
Why doesn't Reuters explain their motives for some recent
attempts they were caught at in the clandestine sabotage of a
rival U.S. news service ?
I've kinda of forgotten most of
the details as it didn't surprise me and I've other things
to focus on. But if you care to look it up, and it was not
too long ago , if my memory serves me right it was along
lines similar to a computer hacker attack and it was
directed at Bloomberg, in an attempt to shut them down.
Rather shabby business for a news service to be engaging
in. :-(
You really don't want to get me started on the sorry
and slimy modus operandi of our so called free press.
It's ture at times they render us a service, but I
often wonder if the service they render is worth all
the evil we have to put up with from them.
