If over a third of us are already on-line, web use cannot triple, by definition. Period. Why doesn't the investing public wake up? This is a no brainer. A joke.

I don't know where that statistic came from, but.......

Who are "a third of us"? Do you mean 2 billion people on Earth? 87 million Americans? 50 million adult Americans? 8 million American computer owners?

What does "on-line" mean in your statistic? Checking your e-mail every few days? That's a far cry from online shopping or SI use.

Umm, the only reason I made money shorting Yahoo! is because of October's crash. The further away from that event we get, the more I think I was lucky, not smart. I think the smartest thing I did last year was to leave Yahoo! alone. BTW, I do have my share of losers.
