Dipy, as far as I recall, the largest group coming out against the Second Gulf War was the isolationist wing of the Republican Party. I remember being seated at a gathering of liberal teachers and all save one supported the war. I did not support that failed expedition mainly because of 3 words repeated often by President Bush: New World Order. Anyway, Clinton's idea of putting pressure on Iraq is to bomb an Iraqi janitor in the middle of the night.
