S&P now has BORL rated at: **** (accumulate). First time in a long while that this has happened. [double market_impact = 0.0;]

shane,

i think this move by MSFT is shrewd, and wish BORL would follow.

techweb.com

i'm leaning away from using Java on the front end, but like it for
the back and middle tiers. DHTML is great for the client sides, and
it's very light. I would like Borland to get in bed with Allaire
or Macromedia or NetObjects and give me the ability to connect the
middle and back tiers to DHTML and the browser pieces.

By the by, MSFT will definitely succeed with J++, and it does compete
against JBuilder.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers,
m
