Glenn, I think it clicked this time. TV is time value, and it decreases as options exp. date draws closer. Therefore if one wishes to close out one's in the money options -- for example, in the money written put, the best time to do it is on the options exp. date because one only has to pay the intrinsic value for a purchase of a put. Thank you very much for all your options related posts today. It's not going to be easy but its interesting and absolutely necessary. Both you, Gary, and others have contributed a great deal to the discussions of the options' material impacts on price movements of Asnd and options trading in itself.
